Located in North Vancouver, Deep Cove Kayak is once again giving locals and tourists alike the opportunity to experience the city’s waters in an entirely different light this summer, with a special, seasonal kayaking series.
- Mountain Ropes Adventure at Grouse should be on your summer bucket list (CONTEST)
- Whistler Mountain Bike Park opens for 2019 season on May 17
- Open burning and backyard fires banned in Surrey for the season
Friday Night Lights runs from now until September 28, and offers guided tours of Indian Arm, beginning at dusk each Friday.
The kayaks are outfitted with lights, but it will be dark enough for a possible shot at seeing the bioluminescent lights of the sea waters.
The two-and-a-half tour details the geography, wildlife, and First Nations of the area, and costs $75 per person.
It’s fair to see that the whole experience makes for a memorable evening with friends, or offers the perfect opportunity to take someone on an unforgettable date.
And while it is a summer activity, you’ll want to make sure you bring extra layers of clothing, as it can cool down out on the water during the evening hours.
Tours run from 8 pm to 10:30 pm every Friday, and must be booked in advance.
