These were the funniest responses to Daylight Saving Time
FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Hate it or love it, Daylight Saving Time ended on Sunday. We lost an hour in March but gained it back this weekend so we’re all squared up.
For some, it means an extra hour of sleep, for others, it’s getting evening darkness too soon.
Daylight Saving Time originates from the Industrial Revolution when industrial societies began to organize the hours of daylight. It’s used in most of North America, Europe, and parts of South America and Australia.
Saying “don’t forget to set your clocks” has become redundant as our smartphones are smart enough to do all the heavy lifting. Instead, we now take to social media to complain, make jokes or praise it. Decent trade.
The Twitterverse was rampant with jokes, GIFs and memes about DST this weekend, to mixed but funny reactions. We’ve put the best ones together in the hopes of giving you a good time, a daylight saving good time.
Let me get this right; we are cutting an inch off the top of the blanket, sewing it on at the bottom, and saying itās longer? #DaylightSavingsTimeEnds
