Television star David Duchovny of “X-Files” fame – and “Californication” – landed in Vancouver last week to begin filming the “X-Files” reboot, and he hasn’t been shy letting Vancouverites know his whereabouts.
The active Twitter user has visited English Bay and the A-maze-ing Laughing sculpture as well as Coal Harbour, where he found a peculiarly dressed man advertising sandwiches.

According to the Union of B.C. Performers, “X-Files” begins shooting today, June 8, in North Vancouver at the North Shore Studios. Duchovny will reprise his role as Detective Mulder on the series and co-star Gillian Anderson will return as Dana Scully.
The show was officially picked up by Fox in March of this year, with a six episode order to premiere this summer.
