Run to fight cancer at the Daffodil Dash Vancouver 2015

Dec 19 2017, 10:44 pm

Ready, Set, Dash!

The Daffodil Dash is a 1 km walk and 5 km run where participants and teams run/walk to fight against cancer. The run, benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society, is a family friendly event designed to challenge the average runner.

By registering to fundraise for the Daffodil Dash, you are helping the Canadian Cancer Society in their mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with it. More importantly, you are showing those who are living with cancer or who have lost someone to cancer that they are not alone.

This April, many communities all over the province will be walking, running and dashing to put an end to cancer.

Every dollar counts and being a part of the Daffodil Dash is so much more than a run. This is your chance to get involved – as a team or as an individual – and find fun, creative and exciting ways to help the Canadian Cancer Society maximize funds directed to cancer research and programs supporting families dealing with this awful disease.

Gather your friends, family and co-workers to create a team, dress in yellow and dash your petals off to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and support programs.

Teams that are comprised of four or more individuals and can register at a reduced rate.

About Daffodil Month

Daffodil Month is a national fundraising campaign of the Canadian Cancer Society. During April, Society volunteers raise vital funds for the fight against cancer.

Money raised during Daffodil Month helps local patients living with cancer and their families. Donations fund life-saving research, support services and other important work that means fewer Canadians will be touched by the disease.
