Here's how you can win a bike worth $1500 from Cycle City Vancouver (CONTEST)

Acclaimed bike tour company Cycle City Vancouver has recently opened their premiere bike retail and servicing shop in downtown, aiming to support the city’s growing number of cyclist commuters and leisure bikers with an expansive rental and retail fleet, extended hours, urban-friendly accessories, and expert servicing.

In celebration of their new retail and servicing space, Cycle City is giving away a brand new 2019 Brodie Energy, worth $1500 — AKA the ultimate Vancouver commuter bike.

Situated along Hornby Street, an area in downtown Vancouver boasting one of the city’s busiest bike lanes, the brand-new 4,000 sq. ft. retail and servicing space is the first of its kind to open in central downtown in over 30 years.

The new Cycle City Bike Shop carries a range of bike-related goodies, including practical commuter bikes, stylish city bikes, and adventure bikes perfect for mountainous trails. Also available in store are necessary accessories like helmets, locks and lights, bike racks, bags, and fenders.

Cycle City Bike Shop also offers all-day servicing by seasoned mechanics, inviting cyclists to drop off their bikes in need of a tune-up. For added convenience, commuters can drop off their bikes in the morning, and have it ready to pick up after their day at work!

For bikes requiring extended repair time, the store will provide loaners so customers can carry on with their day-to-day travels. The store also boasts a custom-built bike shower station where customers can have their bikes washed and detailed — both of these are included in the Deluxe Tune-up service.

Founded in 2010 by owner Josh Bloomfield, Cycle City offers five popular city tours, including the brand new Night City Tour, Craft Beer Tour, and Epic Electric — as well as private customized excursions and rentals at the existing store on Burrard Street. The new Hornby Street location carries more than 300 rental bikes, including the biggest e-bike fleet in the city.

Cycle City Bike Shop is open between 8 am and 9 pm during the busy summer season, the longest hours of any bike store in the city. For a limited time only, new customers will receive a 20 per cent discount on services, including complimentary detailing and a bike shower.

Customers who want to try out a bike before they buy can rent the bike they have their eye on and, if they like what they ride, staff will apply the rental fee to the cost of the purchase!
