After a long day at work or school, it’s always lovely to come home to nice warm bed. Usually, that warm bed has four walls around it, but not in the case of this Craigslist listing looking to rent out a curtained-off corner of a living room for $630 a month.
“I’m renting a private space in the living room starting date on December 15th,” the ad, originally posted on November 30, says.
The poster goes on to list the building’s amenities, including a “gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi.” They also note the space is “two blocks away from rogers arena stadium [and] really well situated; the nearest Skytrain station is 2 minutes walking away.”
However, not included in the amenities are dry wall, a door, door knob, paint or sound barrier of any kind.
We do expect the “room” includes a mattress and possibly a window, but nothing’s guaranteed.
The ad originally included a few photos of the space but those have since been taken down. Luckily, one Redditor was able to screencap the posting before the pictures disappeared.
