Experience wedding day luxury at Crème de la Crème Grand Wedding Showcase

Some brides will say that organizing a wedding is a wonderful experience. But in an industry that’s full of options, it can also be quite overwhelming.

“Veil or tiara?” “Red velvet or vanilla?” “Do we need a center piece?” Unfortunately Vancouver’s Crème de la Crème Grand Wedding Showcase won’t be able to make the decisions for you, but it will make them easier.

On Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, brides have an opportunity to visit a variety of chic and elegant vendors, try special pampering services, taste delicious bites and drinks, and last but not least, feast their eyes on Crème de la Crème’s exclusive haute couture wedding fashion show. The runway will feature some of the upcoming season’s hottest bridal trends and classics, straight from New York, including Elie Saab, Jenny Packham, Monique Lhuillier, and Pronovias Atelier Bridal and more by Bisou Bridal and Cachè Couture Atelier; it is a show you won’t see anywhere else in Vancouver.

CountDown Events’ Founder, Soha Lavin recently hosted a preview for the upcoming event alongside guests including former Bachelorette Jillian Harris, CTV’s Tamara Taggart, and Entertainment Tonight’s Erin Cebula (who is also emcee of this year’s Crème de la Crème).

From sumptuous table settings to sweet treats, Vancity Buzz was invited to take a sneak peek of what you can expect at the Crème de la Crème Grand Wedding Showcase:

The room was full of beautifully decorated tables and gorgeous flower arrangements by Granville Island Florist. CountDown’s meticulous attention to detail was evident in the plate settings and layouts (plates by Kate Spade from Hudson’s Bay). This trait is why CountDown’s founder and principal, Soha Lavin, is one of Canada’s most sought after wedding planners. Even the confetti is cleverly placed.

It’s not a preview without some beautiful wedding dresses.

The Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver offered up delectable bites, while La Glace ice-cream catered to the sweet toothed with mini ice-cream cones and Archimallows with custom marshmallows.

We also met sparking queen Elsa Corsi, who adorns many brides with her beautiful jewellery designs.
