Summer’s not over yet, so you’ve still got time to celebrate in street festival style at Vancouver’s River District.
Enjoy free music, giveaways, entertainment, craft beer samples, a market, and even sliders from Romer’s Burger Bar.
On August 11, the festival attracted over 2,500 people so you can expect big things from this next outdoor event!
Live music will be your soundtrack for the day led by local favourites Myles Bigelow, with lively jazz and soul sounds, Kutapira, featuring Afro-Cuban vibes, and a long-time favourite from The Roxy, Dr. Strangelove.
Take time out to enjoy some shopping at the marketplace packed full of local vendors, including Prebak’s edible cookie dough. Get creative and learn from professional artists as you help create a large interactive River District graffiti mural in partnership with the Vancouver Mural Festival.
If you’re one of the first 200 people in attendance, you’ll receive a free Savour Summer hat, free Johnny’s Pops, as well as an Instagram contest with 10 chances to win a $25 Romer’s gift card.
