Craft Beer Market Temporarily Closed Due to Reported Norovirus

Update: Craft Beer Market ha re-opened after a few people got sick on the weekend. Vancouver Coastal Health cleared them this morning after it closed yesterday for heavy cleaning.

Craft Beer Market, the popular Olympic Village hotspot has temporarily closed due to reported Norovirus illness affected patron. The closure took place yesterday after Vancouver Coastal Health received reports that six patrons had fallen ill.

The cause of the illness has been traced back to employees who went into work ill.

Craft Beer Market posted on their Facebook:

UPDATE: We have now received a temporary closure notice from Vancouver Coastal Health. We are meeting with them tomorrow morning and will update you at that time. Please note: Norwalk/norovirus HAS NOT been confirmed as cause of guest or staff illness.

The restaurant will be sanitized and open once again when it is safe to do so and approved by Vancouver Coastal Health.
