A North Vancouver family captured a rare visitor enter their backyard during the night on New Year’s Eve.
The video caught on security cameras at a house in North Vancouver’s Deep Cove area shows a large cougar approach the house, get startled, and walk away. Olivier P. Vincent, the video’s owner, says the animal must have been spooked by a loud cheer coming from inside where friends were enjoying a New Year’s Eve celebration.
