Vancouverite Cory Monteith is among 2013's most Google searched

Rob Ford, Cory Monteith and Paul Walker are among Google Canada’s most searched queries for 2013.

The Internet search provider went through its 40 billion queries submitted throughout 2013 and compiled the results into its 13th annual Google Zeitegeist report. The company ranked its “most searched” queries by number of searches while its “trending” list was based on searched that attained the greatest volume of traffic over a sustained period.

Late Vancouverite and Glee actor Cory Monteith was among the most searched in Canada, trailing just behind Toronto mayor Rob Ford.

Monteith also joins the worldwide top 10 trending searches of 2013:
