Coronavirus outbreak declared at Surrey Memorial Hospital

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

On September 1, Fraser Health’s current outbreak webpage added Surrey Memorial to the list of facilities impacted by COVID-19.

“The current active outbreak list is updated when new outbreaks are declared. When an outbreak is over, the facility is removed from the list,” notes Fraser Health.

The Surrey Memorial Hospital outbreak was not mentioned in Tuesday’s written COVID-19 update from Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix.
