Another BC long-term care home is reporting an outbreak of COVID-19.

Arbutus Care Centre, located at 4505 Valley Drive in Vancouver, is now the latest of three active outbreaks in the province’s long-term care homes.

According to Vancouver Coastal Health’s lastest bulletin, the facility went into restrictions as of August 14. A facility can be taken off restrictions when the centre has been without a new confirmed infection for over two weeks.

The other two centres currently experiencing an outbreak in the province is the second floor of Richmond Lions Manor – Bridgeport, which went into restrictions on August 5, and Holy Family Hospital, LTCF, which went into restrictions on June 9 — though its rehabilitation unit is listed as open.
