Corner Suite Bistro Closed

Update: According to Mia Stainsby the closure was due to bankruptcy.

Last night my twitter stream was full of Vancouverites in disbelief that The Corner Suite Bistro De Luxe on Thurlow and Haro had shut its doors forever.  Why? We may never know.  The restaurant industry is tough and in these economic times and harsher drinking and driving laws I predict more casualties in the coming year.

I’ve had so many great nights there and it’s sad to see The Corner Suite close it’s doors as it was a sort of hidden gem in the Vancouver Market. In the end, the location may have been it’s ultimate downfall.

Now, the question is, can we get our hands on those blue chairs?
