Sinkhole on on-ramp in Port Coquitlam causes traffic delays

Dec 20 2017, 2:31 am

A sinkhole on an on-ramp to the Mary Hill Bypass in Coquitlam formed last night and is causing some traffic delays. According to the City of Coquitlam, it’s due to a water main break.

Global is saying the sinkhole is 1.5 metres deep and it’s affecting Eastbound traffic.

This sinkhole comes in the wake of one that formed in Burnaby last Friday, causing an SFU bus to get stuck.
