UPDATED: Coquitlam RCMP search for missing girls, aged 12 and 13

UPDATE:  The RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 12-year-old female and the 13-year-old female reported missing have been located, and both are safe and sound.

Coquitlam RCMP are searching for two missing girls last seen on September 25.

According to police Kaitlyn Beaulieu, 12, of Port Coquitlam and Sonja Craig, 13 of Coquitlam, were last seen on Wednesday near the Coquitlam Centre bus loop and may have been together.

Beaulieu is described as:

  • A 12-year-old Caucasian girl
  • Slim
  • Brown shoulder-length hair, and brown eyes
  • 5’ (152 cm) and 80 lbs (36 kg)
  • A mole over her left eyebrow

She was last seen wearing a red hoodie over a red crop top, red sweat pants, black Champion running shoes, and a beige or grey backpack.

Craig is described as: 

  • A 13-year-old South Asian girl
  • Slender
  • Long brown hair, and brown eyes
  • 4’10’’ (147 cm) and 90 lbs (40 kg)

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, aquamarine blue kappa pants, black runners, a grey Herschel backpack.
