Coquitlam RCMP shared a video of the incident on X on July 22. It looks like the flower theft was caught on a dash cam.
The video is just over 30 seconds long, and the POV begins looking forward towards a road before it pans to the left, showing two women with bunches of flowers.
One of the women appears to be hauling the flowers in some type of cart or wagon, while the other is carrying two armfuls.
Coquitlam RCMP said that the flowers were stolen from a public park in the area of Pinetree Way and Trevor Wingrove Way in Coquitlam.

“We have noticed that it is getting a lot of social media attention though, which is great,” it added.
Coquitlam RCMP wasn’t lying. In the X post about the incident, residents and followers of the account were riled up. The post has over 150,000 views, nearly 150 comments, and hundreds of shares. That’s not common for a Coquitlam RCMP X post.

This shit pisses me off. Our city is nice for a reason. I hope they catch these people.
