The “Cookie Shot” was created by Dominique Ansel, who is also the man behind the much replicated and adapted Cronut – half croissant, half donut.
“The idea behind the cookie shot was to bring a new exciting food aspect to Vancouver. We always try to find fun pop culture foods for people to try at Hawkers. This is going to be a really fun collaboration,” said Lassam. “We have an amazing patisserie expert Claire Lassam of Livia’s sweets and Lauren Elebe of Nuez Milk, a brand new company that focuses on making delicious milks from locally grown hazelnuts in BC.”
Come check them out this Saturday from 6 p.m. until late at Hawkers Market’s new warehouse on 1480 Frances Street. Stay tuned for our full coverage on Hawkers Market and what food to expect this Saturday.
