Contest: Find Uganda's Children!

Dec 19 2017, 12:21 pm

Today at 1pm today we’ll be announcing the riddle to the first location for “Find Uganda’s Children in Van”, a scavenger hunt in downtown Vancouver.

Vancity Buzz and Snow4Innocents will scatter posters across downtown Vancouver and post a clue to find the first location and child of Uganda. The first person to successfully find all of Uganda’s children and make it to the last location wins!

Each poster is going to represent a story of a child from Uganda. These posters tell the story about the Snow4Innocents (s4i) cause to fight childhood disease in Uganda. To make sure you get the clue to find the first poster, do one or more of the following:

1) Follow @VancityBuzz and @Snow4Innocents on Twitter
2) Become a fan of (s4i) and Vancity Buzz on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Snow4Innocents/390975546647 and http://www.facebook.com/vancity.buzz respectively
3) RSVP to the Facebook event at http://bit.ly/vanScavenge

We’ll be giving away another pound of Starbucks African coffee and two Starbucks mugs to the first person to find all posters. We look forward to seeing you downtown!

(s4i) is skiing to fund the fight against childhood disease in Uganda. This June, Vancouver resident and SFU student Justin Long will climb and ski Africa’s third largest mountain to raise funds for Uganda’s only dedicated children’s hospital. Justin will also act out crazy ideas created and voted by the public on the expedition. Learn more at http://www.snow4innocents.org/ and participate with your own idea.
