Contact 2014 Lineup includes Armin Van Buuren, Zedd, plus a tented outdoor stage

Blueprint, in partnership with Live Nation Canada, has announced the full artist line-up and details for the city’s most anticipated electronic music event of the year: CONTACT Winter Music Festival.

Now in its third year running as a two-day event, CONTACT 2014 will return to BC Place – offering its highest level of production yet, including two stages and an exciting international line up. It places the festival on an international scale.

In addition to this, CONTACT 2014 will see a second, tented outdoor stage allowing the festival to expand to a more diverse program of music.

Since 2012, CONTACT has grown from a single day electronic music event to become Western Canada’s largest and most talked about two-day stadium event. CONTACT 2013 broke Vancouver’s all time social media record by sharing a staggering 10,000 photos & interactions over two-days, which featured headlining acts Skrillex, Kaskade, Dada Life, and Diplo.

With the ambition of topping the caliber and demand of artists from 2013, this years’ line-up is anticipated to make even bigger waves across the Pacific Northwest, boasting a stacked roster of the world’s most coveted DJs and producers.

For Blueprint, CONTACT 2014 will continue pushing boundaries & expectations to grow the electronic music scene in Western Canada. Alvaro Prol of Blueprint, Principal shares, “It’s amazing to see the growth and success of CONTACT just over two years. From its inaugural year in 2012 to last year where we were able to expand CONTACT to a 2-day festival and double in attendance.”

Contact 2014 Winter Music Festival

Venue: BC Place Stadium, Vancouver

Dates and Times:

The December 26 and 27 event will be open to all ages, and will feature VIP areas for attendees who are 19 and older carrying ID.

Doors open at 5 p.m. each day, with acts running until midnight.

Tickets:  Pre-sale begins for AMEX cardholders on Wednesday, October 1 at 10 a.m. Early bird passes are limited in supply, and tickets range from $125 to $175 for a 2-day festival pass.

Public festival passes go on sale starting Friday, October 3 at 11 a.m. VIP festival passes will also be available at $250.00 for a 2-day pass. Single day tickets and line-up to be announced at a later date.
