Congrats Bruins Fans On Reaching New Lows

Dec 19 2017, 12:59 pm

20 seconds into game 6 yesterday and Mason Raymond goes down. A few seconds after he laid their on the ice it was clear that he was hurt and if that didn’t trigger the severity of the injury the Canucks trainers rushing to the ice should serve as a good indication. However, Bruins fans didn’t see it that way as they openly mocked Raymond while he was motionless on the ice.

Earlier in the series when it was a Bruins player on the receiving end of a hit and was knocked out of the finals Bruins fans were furious. At that point Bruins fans were crying foul and called the Canucks, the organization and fan base classless. Last night we saw the classy Bostonians chanting “flopper” when it was obvious Raymond was hurt. They didn’t even clap when he was carried off the ice. Bruins fans you are now on par with the Philly fans. Congratulations.

Raymond suffered a vertebrae compression fracture and will be out 3 to 4 months. Let’s all wish Mason a speedy recovery and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family and friends.
