Colony Main Street: New bar brings back trivia nostalgia
Colony Main Street, Blueprint’s second bar, has landed on Main Street at the former Mr. Brownstone location.
Located in Mount Pleasant, Colony Main Street is great addition for the neighbourhood, offering an casual food menu, sports-viewing, comedy, trivia, live music and a well-stocked bar – including a progressive craft beer program. With 130 seats, the bar offers enough room for friends and neighbours alike.
A throwback to Mr. Brownstone days, the Main Street watering hole will bring back the ever-popular Monday trivia nights, pairing it with a bunch of food and drink specials – like their scrumptious flatbread pizzas. At $9.95, they are fully-loaded and imminently-sharable, and also come in a gluten-free option.
“Main Street seemed like a natural place for us to look. It’s an up-and-coming, yet community-minded area, and Colony Bar is all about fostering those tight-knit, laid back connections. We’re excited to welcome everyone and get to know our new neighbours,” said Bill Keriasotis of Blueprint via a media release.
Colony Main’s beer program will focus on local B.C. brewers and carefully selected brands from abroad – with 18 rotating on tap, and daily $4 beer specials.

There’s an appealing unfinished look to the 2,000 square foot space, boasting cinderblock walls, an original wood beam exposed ceiling, an iron bar and tables and leather finished furniture.
