Colin Mochrie returns to The Improv Centre

Dec 19 2017, 4:39 pm

Legendary improviser and Vancouver TheatreSports™ (VTSL) alumnus Colin Mochrie returns to The Improv Centre for two evenings of comedy gold.

Back in 1981, a fresh faced Mochrie began his career in improv with VTSL at The Back Alley Theatre in downtown Vancouver. Today, he is one of the world’s most admired improvisers with the hit show Whose Line is it Anyway? on The CW. This month is your chance to see the comedic genius in action in five shows over the course of three days.

On Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m., Mochrie will be joined on stage by some of the stars from the VTSL ensemble for an evening that is sure to tickle your funny bone. This special performance includes a mouth-watering pre-show catered reception by The Lazy Gourmet with a complimentary glass of bubbles, plus a post-show Q&A with the Improv Master himself.

On Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, Mochrie returns for four shows (7:30 and 10 p.m. each evening) with some of your favourite VTSL players in a free-form improv laugh fest. If last year’s sell-out performances are anything to go by, this is sure to be the hot ticket for a hot summer night. Purchase your tickets here.
