New Westminster is about to receive a caffeine jolt, thanks to Coffee Bar. The popular coffee shop hailing from Gastown is set to open the doors in May to a Columbia Street location.
Currently under construction, the New Westminster Coffee Bar will be situated among the new retail unit at the Trapp + Holbrook condo site.
“We’re excited to be a part of the revival of the old Downtown New Westminster, which is undergoing a rather similar evolution to that of Gastown,” says Manager and Events and Media Enquiries contact Lisa Jensen.

The 1200-square-foot space will house 24 seats, a communal table, and some bench seating, and will feature a similar menu to the one offered at the Gastown branch.
Patrons can therefore expect to find a beverage program which exclusively uses beans from 49th Parallel, and an array of baked goods, which have been chosen to complement the hot drinks on offer.
