Western Canada’s largest hackathon is back at UBC, for nwHacks 2016.

With over 600 participants, teams of high school and college students from around the world will compete, creating brand new applications and programs from scratch for the chance of winning $5000 in cash and prizes.

nwHack winners have produced programs from virtual reality video games, to apps that track sun positioning or calculate your car’s CO² emissions from your phone. Check out these and other winners from the 2015 nwHacks hackathon online.

Registration for the event is now closed, but information on upcoming nwHacks and the winners of this year’s event can be found on the nwHacks website.
