
Another era is about to end in B.C.’s media industry. Bill Good will be retiring from CKNW as of August 1 to pursue other opportunities.
The 68-year-old broadcaster has worked at CKNW for nearly 26 years and was previously the co-anchor of CTV News at Six until January 2011.
“He has interviewed thousands of people including Prime Ministers, CEO’s, sports heroes and some of the biggest names from the world of entertainment,” CKNW writes.

In recent years, other longtime local personalities have also hung up the microphone, including Global BC’s Deborra Hope and Tony Parsons, who was the News Hour anchor of Global BC for 35 years before taking a brief three year stint with CBC Vancouver.
