Quebec-based arts troupe Cirque du Soleil has entertained over 150 million people around the world since 1984. This week, the organization has been marking its 30th anniversary with free events.

As part of its celebrations in Vancouver, Cirque du Soleil will be putting on a low-aerial, free fireworks show at the Plaza of Nations in False Creek this Saturday, June 21.

The fireworks will begin to launch at approximately 10:30 p.m., just after the scheduled end time of the Cirque du Soleil TOTEM performance at the nearby Big Top tent.
