If you live or work downtown (around Coal Harbour) or on the north shore I’m sure you witnessed the dazzling elegant displays on the sails of Canada Place. If you haven’t then might I suggest that you go check it out. It seems only a few years ago it seemed as though this city was devoid of Christmas spirit, but now there is so much going on that it really does feel like Christmas, snow or no snow.

Canada Place is celebrating our 22nd annual Christmas at Canada Place: Making Spirits Bright from December 6 – 31, 2009. Watch our iconic sails transform into an array of light, color and animation with spectacular Light Shows on the Sails from 6am – 8am & 5pm – 11pm. For more Light Show info, click here. Christmas at Canada Place proudly supports local charities including Strathcona Community Centre’s crucial Food Security for Children program, helping to feed children on the Downtown Eastside. Help us support this essential program through online donations during the holiday season.
