Chipotle opening at Broadway and Cambie [UPDATED]

Good news for fans of big ass burritos: Chipotle will be moving in next door to the West Broadway location of Peaceful restaurant.

In an email to Daily Hive, a Chipotle spokesperson confirmed they are indeed going to open up in mid- to late summer. “We’ll have more details to share as it gets a little closer to opening,” the Chipotle rep adds.

Chipotle is going to face a run for their money in the burrito department, since right around the corner La Taqueria gets a daily line out the door for their tacos and new line of equally hefty burritos.

UPDATED: A previous version of this article erroneously indicated Chipotle would replace Peaceful; it will be going next to Peaceful in a multi-unit building at the same address, 532 West Broadway.
