Vancouver was recently recognized as one of the top cities in the world to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

And with the crowds that descended on Vancouver’s Chinatown for the annual parade this weekend, it’s not hard to see why.

A little bit of rain was no match for the spirit of celebration and annual parade, which drew thousands of spectators and included Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Here’s 41 photos of Vancouver’s Chinese New Year parade 2017.
