The very best are pitted against each other to make the best tiny piece of food, the dumpling. The first annual Chinatown Night Market Dumpling Cook Off takes place this Friday.
The winner will walk away with a trophy designed by local artist Diane Espiritu

A panel of judges will decide the winner.
Folks who purchased the dumpling passport (now sold out) each get a tasting of the chef’s unique creation. All proceeds from the sale of the dumpling passport go toward funding the Chinatown Night Market.
If all that is not enough don’t miss the Dumpling Derby on the market stage. 5 men and 5 women will heroically gorge themselves for 2 full minutes to battle over the title of first ever Chinatown Night Market Dumpling Eating Champion.
