A gargantuan corn maze has opened just 60 minutes from Vancouver

Chilliwack Corn Maze, a popular destination for families and adventurers, is now open for another season of fun.

Greendale Acres’ iconic maze is celebrating its 28th year in 2026, and the new design of the massive cornfield has longtime fans buzzing with excitement.

The 12-acre field, which officially opened earlier this week, is designed to be enjoyed by all ages.

“The corn maze has always been more than an attraction for us,” says Vanessa Oddy of Greendale Acres. “It’s the moment that summer truly begins. Families return year after year, and every journey through the maze becomes part of their story.

Special events at the farm to add to your calendar include the Chilliwack Corn Festival from Aug. 1 to 3 and Aug. 8 and 9.

Highlights of the summertime staple include corn-shucking and -eating contests, face painting, and live music every day of the festival.

Other events to check out include the Sundown Music Series on various dates in August and September, a Golden Hour flower workshop and painting workshop on Aug. 20 and 27, Princess Day on Aug. 22, and a summer send-off on Sept. 5.
