Chill in the Park for a charity rail jam with Chill Vancouver

DH Vancouver Staff Mar 08, 2016 2:39 pm

Shred for a good cause at the Chill in the Park Rail Jam by the Chill Foundation.

Vancouver’s Chill Foundation uses snowboarding to help teach kids self-confidence and life skills, and increase confidence through the lessons of athletics. To date the Chill Foundation has introduced the sport to over 17,500 kids in the Lower Mainland and beyond, instilling the virtues of patience, determination, responsibility, respect, and pride in the leaders of tomorrow.

Chill in the Park is a charity rail jam, giving the philanthropic boarders out there the chance to show their stuff in three categories (15 & Under, Amateur, and Pro) while raising money for the Chill Foundation in the process. Registration requires a $75 fundraising minimum, but that amount covers:

  • Full-day lift ticket
  • Entry to rail jail – optional
  • Drink ticket from Kokanee
  • Snack ticket for the Proclaim Restoration table
  • Two raffle tickets
  • Free coffee from Ethical Bean Coffee

Register online at the Chill Foundation website.
