All proceeds from the event support the Society’s Youth Art Engagement Program. This is a free program offered to some of Vancouver’s most at-risk, vulnerable, young people. Youth get the opportunity to participate in nine sessions facilitated by leaders who provide ongoing mentorship and guidance. At the end of it all, youth will get to present their work at an art gallery celebration.

“Our project’s goal is to keep these kids safe from sexual exploitation, while at the same time, empowering them to raise awareness of this devastating crime through their own creation of social justice art,” said Children of the Street Society, in a statement.
