Toddler passes away after falling into swimming pool in Chilliwack

A toddler who fell into a swimming pool last week in Chilliwack has passed away.
BC Emergency Health Services say they received a 9-1-1 call at 4:35 pm.
Two paramedic ground units, plus a supervisor were dispatched. The child, who media reports say was just two years old, was airlifted to the hospital at 6 pm in critical condition.
Chilliwack RCMP confirmed that the child passed on Sunday, June 16, although few other details were shared.
The BC Coroners Service has taken over the investigation.
