Just over the bridge or a short SeaBus ride away from downtown, North Vancouver is home to several restaurants that are well worth the trip. Case and point: These 5 North Shore spots where you can take in a view and eat your fill for $10 or less.

Pier 7

Sitting on the water next to Lonsdale Quay, this North Vancouver restaurant offers a beautiful view of downtown Vancouver. From 3 to 6, and again from 9 to close, Pier 7’s Happy Hour features seven different appetizers, all for less than $10. Favourites include the fish tacos, spicy creole calamari, and the Greek-style flatbread pizza.

Near the top of Lonsdale, this local watering hole serves up classic pub fare. For $10, try the poutine or perogie bites, or go for the fully loaded veggie quesadilla.

Honey’s Doughnuts

While the main attraction is definitely the donuts, Honey’s in Deep Cove also serves sandwiches like their BLT for $6.50, or their clubhouse for $8. Top if off with one of their classic “roly poly” donuts for $2.15, or go for the maple or chocolate glazed. You won’t be disappointed.
