How to score FREE ice cream at Vancouver's Pleasant Day Festival

One of Vancouver’s favourite street festivals just got a whole lot sweeter!

On Aug. 8, Chapman’s is bringing its Chill Zone pop-up to Pleasant Day Festival, giving visitors a chance to cool down with some seriously good ice cream.

The pop-up will be serving free samples of Chapman’s award-winning Super Premium Plus ice cream, and there are plenty of flavours to try.

Do you like salty-sweet goodness of Salty Caramel Crunch? Can’t get enough of Cold Brew Coffee? Or maybe you’re a classic Cookie Dough lover? Whatever the case, there’s a scoop with your name on it!

A full day of fun

The Chill Zone is just one part of Pleasant Day, a celebration of the community, culture, and businesses that make Mount Pleasant such a vibrant neighbourhood year-round.

Along Main St., from 16th Ave. and King Edward Ave., you can expect live performances across four outdoor stages, a local vendor market, dozens of food trucks, and interactive zones for all ages.

Basically, you can spend the day exploring the neighbourhood, dancing to some tunes, grabbing a bite, and then top it all off with a free scoop (or two) at Chapman’s!
