
The iconic Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be flying high over Vancouver this summer, and you’ll be able to catch them in action during some very exciting events in the city and around the region.
According to the Snowbirds’ 2025 summer schedule, they’ll be doing a flyover in Vancouver on July 19 and 23, for the first two nights of the 2025 Honda Celebration of Light, which will feature an all-Canadian lineup.

The 2025 Honda Celebration of Light competitors include:
- Yukon on Saturday, July 19, staged by Midnight Sun Fireworks
- Quebec on Wednesday, July 23, staged by Royal Pyrotechnie
- Nova Scotia on Saturday, July 26, staged by Fireworks FX
OnĀ July 19, the team will also be flying at the Boundary Bay Airshow in Delta.
If you’re unable to make those shows, the Snowbirds will be in the Fraser Valley from August 8 to 10 for the Abbotsford International Airshow.
“We are excited to return to the Vancouver area during our 2025 show season, and we look forward to performing for and meeting our fans,” said CF Snowbirds public affairs officer, Capt. Phil Rochon, in a statement to Daily Hive.
The Snowbirds put on dozens of performances across North America between May and October. The 431 Air Demonstration Squadron comprises approximately 80 Canadian Forces personnel who fly the Canadair CT-114 Tutor, a Canadian-built jet.
