9 celebrities you can spot in Vancouver right now
Everyone knows Vancouver is Hollywood North, but right now it seems more starstruck than usual with celebrities from Superman to Count Olaf taking up residence in our city.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled – you never know who you might see walking down Granville Street!
Here are nine famous faces visiting Vancouver right now:
Channing Tatum
Hollywood favourite Channing Tatum has been spotted all over Vancouver in the past few days – including at the Vancouver Aquarium.
Perhaps he’s doing some research for his role in the upcoming remake of Splash! Or could the Jump Street/Men In Black crossover, MIB 23, be about to start filming here?
Neil Patrick Harris
Neil Patrick Harris may be in Vancouver to film his new Netflix show A Series of Unfortunate Events, but he’s also been enjoying the best the city has to offer.
This past weekend, he grabbed a seat at the Celebration of Light to see the Disney fireworks, and the next day, marched in the Pride Parade, before heading to nightclub XY.
- Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Count Olaf in the TV show, could be joined by co-star Joan Cusack, who will play Justice Strauss in one episode.
Lily Collins
Lily Collins is in Vancouver to film action adventure movie Okja, but she’s also been getting out and about, posting photos of BC’s unmistakable coastline – and even a SkyTrain station.

Jake Gyllenhaal is also thought to be in Vancouver to film Okja – let us know if you see him!

Paul Dano, yet another star of Okja, has been spotted in Yaletown.
- The Okja cast may soon also be joined by co-stars Tilda Swinton, Kelly McDonald, and Shirley Henderson.
Tyler Hoechlin
Tyler Hoechin’s Superman is the latest addition to Supergirl since the show moved production to Vancouver. Daily Hive got some great shots of him filming in town.
- Tyler Hoechin could soon be joined by Supergirl herself Melissa Benoist, and co-star Calista Flockhart, who will return despite production moving away from her home in LA.

Hollywood megastar Julia Roberts is in Vancouver to shoot new drama Wonder, in which she plays the mother of a boy born with a facial deformity.
