Celebrate V-Day at the Fox Cabaret's Vintage Valentine's

Feb 4 2017, 1:09 am

No one knew love like Frank Sinatra did.

His sensual songs informed a generation of lovers. His voice drifted through the airwaves into high school dances, first dances at weddings, and last dances, too. His melodies filled parked cars at secluded, romantic points.

That’s why the Fox Cabaret is channeling its spirit, along with the rest of the Rat Pack, for a night of vintage romance and revelry for their Vintage Valentine’s on February 14.

Couples can dance cheek to cheek to classic love songs sung by some of the city’s best musicians. The event will feature live performances by Dominique Fricot, Youngblood, James Green, Hayley Sales, Leisure Club, and Maryse Bernard of Seaborne. After you’re all danced out, you can grab a seat at a reserved table.

Single people won’t be left out either, with a Singles Going Steady dance party in the projections room, and a Space Age Bachelor Pad, with music curated by Trevor Risk.

There will also be live stand-up comedy and other entertainment to keep you going throughout the night.

The night starts at 8 pm and will keep going until 1 am. Tickets are $10 in advance, $20 at the door, and $60 for a reserved table for two.
