Nestled in North Vancouver’s Capilano Heights community, CC’s Chinese Restaurant has been serving up Cantonese, Taiwanese, and Chinese fare since 1972. The restaurant recently rebranded to CC’s Chinese Restaurant presented by Drunken Monkey, in loving memory of C.C. Sun who fulfilled his culinary dream when he opened the restaurant almost 50 years ago.

Now operated by Kathleen Sun, the eatery has brought in new flavours from Drunken Monkey, a restaurant Sun’s grandson opened in Taipei, Taiwan. When the restaurant originally launched in Taiwan, it specialized in Taiwanese stir fry. The chefs then went on to host cooking classes — something CC’s plans to do when its dining room is reopened to the public.

At CC’s, popular menu items are still being delivered, including dishes like lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, BBQ duck, and chicken chow mein. That’s not forgetting appetizers like wontons, spring rolls, and potstickers. Bottled drinks are also available to order.

All menu items at CC’s are available to order for pickup over the phone, or delivery via SkiptheDishes and Uber Eats.
