A new tropical bar and restaurant is opening in Vancouver, and soon at that.
Castaway Bar and Kitchen, located at 3293 W 4th Avenue (the former space of The Blenheim Pub) will be opening its doors on January 18 at 5 pm to welcome its first patrons into a vacation-like atmosphere.

The food and drink menu here will feature offerings inspired by different warm locations around the world, from Mexican to Brazil and Indonesia to Cuba.

Guest can expect colourful cocktails and plates like Maui ribs, nachos, salads, and tacos daily from 4 pm onward, along with a weekend brunch which kicks off at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday.
The eatery is also currently renovating its 80-seat patio, which should be ready by spring.
