Canadian law firm Cassels Brock is taking its existing national presence to the next level, expanding into Calgary to complement its Vancouver and Toronto offices.

The firm focuses on serving the transaction, advocacy, and advisory needs of Canada’s most dynamic business sectors, and believes that its new location will enhance the depth of its national expertise.

“Opening an office in Calgary provides us with an opportunity to offer additional services to existing clients and add expertise in the oil and gas sector to fully service the natural resources industry as a whole,” says Mark Young, managing partner of Cassels Brock.

The office opens with three new partners to the firm, all well-established professionals within the Calgary legal market and business community, including Keith Templeton, Jeffrey Oliver, and Sherri Fountain. Joining them will include associates Danielle Marechal and Jacqueline Chow.

“The desire of these practitioners to continue their careers with Cassels Brock is a game-changer for us,” Young says.

“Following our successful expansion into Vancouver four years ago, we believe that we can provide a fresh perspective and renewed commitment to the Calgary business community during a time when many firms are scaling back their presence.”

The Calgary office will create the opportunity for Cassels Brock to build on its reputation in the financial services sector in its restructuring practice to better serve Alberta clients and deliver on national mandates.

Find their new office located in the Millennium Tower at 440 – 2nd Avenue SW.
