Simon Fraser University’s CaseIT, the largest Management Information Systems case competition in North America, returns for a record-setting 10th year starting today at the Simon Fraser University’s Harbour Centre, the Segal Graduate School of Business, the Morris J. Wosk Centre, and at the Vancouver Aquarium.
After beginning in 2004 as a small, three-hour case competition, CaseIT has evolved into an annual four-day event and become one of the highlights in the calendar of SFU’s Beedie School of Business. The competition now attracts the best and brightest MIS students from around the globe to showcase their abilities in business case analysis to a panel of industry professionals by applying them to real world scenarios. This year’s version will focus on how disruptive mobile technologies have fundamentally changed the way we conduct business and blurred the lines between home and office.
The 2013 CaseIT competition starts today and is open to the public with free admission. There are also a few special events to check out:
Discussion Panel: 10:00AM to 1:00PM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue (580 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC)
