An open table, buffet style barbeque will be prepared for guests, with the main feature being a 120-pound whole roasted pig from Gelderman Farms.

A wide array of meats from Two Rivers looks to complement the centrepiece, including sausages, roast beef, turkey wings, game hens, and pork ribs.

Traditional BBQ sides like potato salad, tossed greens, and grilled corn on the cob will balance out the palate.

And after all that, if you’re truly still hungry, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies will close off the meal.

Drinks for the night follow a whiskey-centric theme.

Up for tasting will be a generous sampling of whiskies from Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, and Jack Daniel’s; specially infused whiskey ales from Main Street Brewing; and a carefully selected menu of – you guessed it – whiskey cocktails.

The event takes place at the Cascade Room on Sunday, September 23. Tickets are available online for $99, including the price of food, beverage, taxes, and tip.
