Dine and sing aboard the Carol Ships this Christmas

Dec 20 2017, 2:49 am

Set sail this holiday season and board one of Vancouver’s many Carol Ships for the 2015 Parade of Lights.

For almost 50 years, the Carol Ships have been taking to Vancouver’s harbour for a jaunt on the waters with bright multi-coloured lights adorning the boat’s exterior. It’s the only time of the year boats are allowed to display coloured exterior lighting.

Inside the ships, guests get to sing-a-long with carollers to Christmas songs and enjoy seasonal meals and drinks, like slow-roasted turkey and honey-glazed ham.

The 2.5 hour weekday journey will cross the Vancouver harbour and sail through False Creek, past North and West Vancouver, into Deep Cove or up to Port Moody.

On weekends, the event is four hours long and includes a DJ and dancing.
