Caribbean Festival North Vancouver 2011

North Vancouver’s premier summer festival returns the weekend of July 23 and 24th as Lonsdale Quay will be transformed by the colourful flavours, sights and sounds of the Caribbean. That’s right Caribbean Festival kicks off and it is great FREE family fun. There will be a parade, international food fair, craft market and a waterfront party (note the Waterfront Party is not free, buy ticket here) that goes on til 1 am!

So hop on the seabus and head on over to the Quay for Caribbean Fest 2011

Caribbean Festival North Vancouver Street Parade Details

  • Date Saturday, July 23, 2011
  • Time 10:00 AM. Parade usually runs 1.5 hours.
  • Location The Parade begins at Victoria Park (Keith Road & Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver). The parade winds around the park on the West side, and then turns South on Lonsdale. From there, it heads down Lonsdale to Esplanade, then turns West to arrive at Waterfront Park and terminate at Forbes & Esplanade.

Children’s Carnival Parade Details

    • Date Sunday, July 24, 2011
    • Time Approx. 1:00 PM
    • Location Waterfront Park, South side in front of the stage
    • Cost Free Admission!
    • Programme Kids dress up in Carnival costumes and “play Mas”!
