In a little less than one month, Car Free Vancouver Day will be coming to town! The festivities are to take place on the weekend of Saturday June 16th (Kitsilano) and Sunday June 17th/Father’s Day (Commercial Drive, Main Street, West End and Kitsilano).
This annual, grassroots event transforms our Vancouver streets into hip-happening car-free community festivals, and each location has its own twist! For example, Kitsilano will be hosting individual block parties, rather than closing off a major street. Car Free Vancouver Day encompasses our city’s evolution toward healthy communities, authentic cultural celebrations, and car-free streets.

Time: Festival runs from noon to 8pm and the streets are closed from 10am to 10pm
