This weekend is the annual Car Free Day in Vancouver festivals. We’ll be highlighting the neighbourhood festivals individually, starting first with Commercial Drive.
Frying fish over fire, parading drummers, healing gardens, DJs spinning beats and all of your friends and neighbours hanging out. Commercial Drive is the birthplace of Car Free Vancouver Day.

Commercial Drive Car Free Day 2013
Date: Sunday, June 16th, 2013 (Father’s Day)
Location: Celebrations on the Drive are from Venables St. to North Grandview Hwy/Central Valley Greenway Bike Lane
Time: Festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. and the street is closed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
