Car fire near Port Mann Bridge causes congestion on Highway 1

Local fire rescue is responding to a car fire on Highway 1 in Coquitlam just north of the Port Mann Bridge on the eastbound lanes.

No injuries have been reported, however, road traffic in the vicinity is severely congested during this evening’s rush hour.

Drivers should consider using other crossings and routes as only one lane is open at the moment.
